TORONTO, March 5th, 2019 – Diversity and inclusion have an effective impact on the bottom line of companies and represent a factor on the way to high performance in the mining industry. On Tuesday, March 5th the 13th Edition of the Brazil-Canada at PDAC brings the panel Leading The Way: Design to Unleash Diversity’s Power. The annual event is promoted in Toronto by the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC).
The panel, held in partnership with the Brazilian Mining Association (IBRAM), Global Affairs Canada, and Women in Mining Foundations, includes themes such as Five Systemics Strategies – Current Results & Impactful Actions, a workshop with Women in Mining Canada National Plan Strategies, and the discussion What Winning Looks Like – The Positive Impacts of Diversity in All Aspects of Mining, moderated by Jamile Cruz, Co-founder at I&D 101.
The Brazil-Canada at PDAC is a series of events held between March 2nd and March 5th during the 2019 PDAC Convention, yearly promoted by the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). The PDAC is an international convention that, in 2018 alone, attracted over 1,000 exhibitors and 24,000 attendees from over 125 countries.
Along with the diversity debate, Tuesday, the Brazil-Canada at PDAC will held the Brazil-Canada Exclusive Capital Markets Luncheon and the panel The Brazilian Mineral Exploration in the Mining Industry – Projects & Opportunities.
