Why should you consider working for BCCC?

The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization whose main goal is highlighting the opportunities for Canadian and Brazilian companies in both markets. The Chamber was established in 1973 and nowadays has over 100 members from different sectors.

Through the years, the Chamber developed a list of five top reasons for why a qualified, motivated and customer-oriented employee would be interested in working for us.

  • Good Employee Relations: At the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, we recognize that our employees are the most valuable asset. They are the ones who make the Chamber the most effective business organization in promoting trade and investment relation between Canada and Brazil.
  • Support, Training, and Learning/Development: Through your assigned work and interactions with members and interested people, you’ll gain a better understanding of a broad variety of business sectors and industries, as well as the issues that affect commerce between countries with a special approach for Brazil and Canada. The Chamber of Commerce is considered the “voice of the business community”, playing an important role in every business sector affecting countries.
  • Great opportunity to improve business networking: Creating or improving professional networking, making invaluable contacts, learning more about potentially working in different sectors and industries, or just understanding a little more about other ways of business between countries is a great asset for any professional career. The Chamber is a great vehicle to meet other business people by providing opportunities to network in BCCC seminars, workshops, luncheons and other events.

Another essential question is “what makes an establishment a great place to work?” An organization that has a reputation for retaining a first-rate staff has the added benefit of attracting future employees who are looking for a long- term career.

How to apply?

STEP 1

You should fill the minimum requirements:

  • Should have your own computer and internet access (PC or MAC);
  • Should be fluent in English, (Portuguese and French would be an asset).
  • Work and prove proficiency on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Canadian Citizenship, Immigrant Status, Student Visa or Working Visa. For legal purposes BCCC will ask for a copy of your documentation.

STEP 2

Look for the available positions and choose one that you like most. Make sure that you understand the job description, dedicated time and expectations. Do not hesitate to contact BCCC if you have any questions.
