Objectives

The BCCC Marketing & Events Committee shall have the following objectives:

to advise the Board of Directors and the executive officers of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (“BCCC”) in matters and activities related to marketing of the Chambers and its services as well as the promotion of its events.

• to create a calendar of events for the BCCC;
• to analyze which events attract the most attendees as well as which events present and potential members would be interested in attending;
• to develop a sustainable marketing strategy that will successfully promote the Chamber’s accomplishments to its members and the community at large;
• to develop and coordinate tools to market the BCCC and to improve communications with current and prospective members;
• to work on the image of the Chamber and its services through communication tools such as Website, Newsletter, Events promotion.
• to identify potential opportunities for successful events and coordinate them from its creation to its implementation and all the way to feedback gathering.

Organization

• Chair: position to be held for 2 years. The Chair identifies and encourages concepts to better improve marketing strategies, objectives and tools to the benefit of the Chamber and its services. The Chair works collaboratively to identify potential successful events and coordinate them through all stages of its implementation. Can be re-elected.
• Vice-Chair: position to be held for 2 years. To support the Chair and take on a leadership role on the Chair’s behalf when required. Can be re-elected.
• BCCC – Administration: BCCC staff or volunteer to offer administrative support for the Committee to assist in organizing marketing strategies and objectives as well as coordinating events.
