Objectives

The BCCC Membership Committee shall have the following objectives:

to advise the Board of Directors and the executive officers of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (“BCCC”) in matters and activities related to recruiting, retraining members and getting their feedback for improvement.

• to actively recruit and attract Chamber membership from business sectors including corporations, non-profit organizations, such as universities, and individuals as well as students.
• to promote membership benefits and orient new members toward active participation.
• to develop and coordinate programs to orient and integrate new members, enhance overall membership retention, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• to verify satisfaction of present members, analyze how BCCC can improve its services, and evaluate what members expect from the Chamber.
• to organize membership categories and benefits, as well as renew them periodically.

Organization

• Chair: position to be held for 2 years. The Chair identifies and encourages membership recruitment and improvement of services to members. The Chair works to keep attracting more members, establish membership satisfaction and ensure the Chamber’s growth. Can be re-elected.
• Vice-Chair: position to be held for 2 years. To support the Chair and take on a leadership role on the Chair’s behalf when required. Can be re-elected.
• BCCC – Administration: BCCC staff or volunteer to offer administrative support for the Committee.
