TORONTO, March 1st, 2019 – The mining sector evolves a complex environment, from intricate regulations to multiple risks. The 13th Edition of the Brazil-Canada at PDAC helds a panel on Tuesday, March 5th focused on sustainability, risk mitigation and crisis management. The annual event is annually promoted in Toronto by the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC).
The panel Risks & Crisis Management in Complex Environment: Tackling the Sustainability of your Business and of the Mining Sector will bring together international experts such as Veronica Nyhan Jones, Sustainable Infrastructure Advisory at IFC World Bank Group, and Tom Butler, CEO at International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM).
The Brazil-Canada at PDAC is a series of events held between March 2nd and March 5th during the 2019 PDAC Convention, yearly promoted by the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). The PDAC is an international convention that, in 2018 alone, attracted over 1,000 exhibitors and 24,000 attendees from over 125 countries.
Along with the sustainability debate, Tuesday the Brazil-Canada at PDAC promotes the panels Leading the Way: Design to Unleash Diversity’s Power and Mining-Financing: Perspectives 2019.
