Studying in Canada as an international student can be a financial challenge for some parents and students. As INGWE Canada, we are constantly in the search of the most cost-effective programs and schools for our clients. The public colleges with the lowest tuition in Canada are located in the Atlantic provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and the easternmost province of Newfoundland and Labrador) and in small cities in Western Canada (British Columbia and Alberta). INGWE Immigration Inc. has more than 100 partnerships with different schools across Canada. For many new immigrants, studying in Canada is the first step to get enough CRS points to be successful in Express Entry draws and ultimately, receive the PR in Canada (Permanent Residency).
What Are Tuition Fees and General Cost to Study in Canada?
The educational programs we offer to our clients are among the cheapest options one can find in Canada as an international student. Tuitions offered by our partner colleges range from CAD$7,240 to CAD$10,780 a year compared to the standard average tuition of $15,500 for most colleges in the rest of the country. In addition to saving money on tuition, the cost of living in these small towns and cities can be anywhere from 25-50% lower than the big three (Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal). Overall, a full-time student enrolled in a 2-year program at these colleges can save on average $12,000 over this period. Some private colleges offer lower tuition fees (around CAD$6,500/year), but if your goal is to stay in Canada, be able to work after completing your studies and get your Permanent Residency (PR Card), these schools will not provide you with that opportunity.
