The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) marked a dynamic presence at South Summit Brazil 2025 in Florianópolis, Brazil from April 9 to 11, 2025, reinforcing our commitment to fostering business, technology exchange, and investment opportunities between Brazil and Canada. Here’s a look back at an inspiring and action-packed week:

Day 1: Kicking Off a Week of Innovation and Connection

🇧🇷✈️ The BCCC team officially landed in Porto Alegre, ready to dive into a week filled with innovation and new connections!

Our activities began with an invitation to participate in a Global Meeting at Instituto Caldeira, a leading innovation hub that is transforming the business landscape in the region. This meeting offered valuable insights into the collaborative spirit driving local and international innovation.

The day continued with a guided tour of Instituto Caldeira, where we explored firsthand the incredible facilities and the startups shaping the future.

In partnership with the Government of Canada, the BCCC proudly kicked off its participation at South Summit Brazil 2025, further strengthening our mission to promote global innovation, investment, and technology exchange between Brazil and Canada. 🤝💡

Day 2: Connecting with Leaders and Exploring New Opportunities

Another incredible day unfolded for the BCCC team in Rio Grande do Sul! 🇧🇷✨

Our journey took us to Fecomércio-RS, where we gained valuable knowledge about the state’s vibrant services sector and its pivotal role in the local economy. This visit underscored the opportunities available for bilateral cooperation in trade and services.

We then engaged in several key meetings at South Summit Brazil, connecting with innovators, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders who are redefining business and technology in Brazil and beyond.

A special highlight was receiving an invitation from the Governo do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul and InvestRS to attend the VIVA O RS Boat — a unique experience where we delved deeper into the region’s industry and investment ecosystem. The conversations and connections built during this event were truly inspiring and impactful.

Day 3: Wrapping Up with Partnerships and Purpose

✨ The final day of the mission brought even more inspiration and opportunities for future collaboration! 🇧🇷🍁

We started the day with visits to Feevale Hub Inovação (Feevale Techpark) and Rede RS Startup, two major players in the local innovation scene. There, we proudly introduced the BCCC, shared insights on international collaboration, and worked closely with entrepreneurs to help refine their pitch presentations.

🚀 Returning to South Summit Brazil, our team continued to engage with brilliant minds, innovative companies, and absorbed fresh insights from thought-provoking panels and discussions.

As our mission concluded, we left Rio Grande do Sul feeling energized, inspired, and more committed than ever to strengthening the innovation bridge between Brazil and Canada.

Moving Forward: A Stronger Brazil-Canada Innovation Bridge

Although the mission has ended, our journey continues. The connections, ideas, and partnerships formed at South Summit Brazil 2025 have laid a solid foundation for future collaborations.

The BCCC remains steadfast in our mission to connect ecosystems, facilitate business opportunities, and promote innovation between our two nations. 🌎🤝🍁

The importance of South Summit Brazil 2025 extends far beyond innovation and technology — it plays a vital role in strengthening bilateral trade relations between Brazil and Canada. Events like this create a powerful platform to connect entrepreneurs, investors, and businesses from both countries, fostering opportunities for collaboration, investment, and sustainable economic growth. The BCCC is proud to be part of this movement and is more committed than ever to supporting the expansion of these ties. We leave this edition inspired and energized — and we can’t wait to return in 2026 to continue building an even stronger, more connected Brazil-Canada innovation and business ecosystem. 🇧🇷🍁🌎
