Toronto, ON – May 20, 2025 – The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) is pleased to announce the establishment of its Saskatchewan Chapter and the appointment of Andre Roscoe as Chapter Chair. This strategic expansion aims to strengthen bilateral economic ties between Brazil and Canada, with a focus on Saskatchewan’s key sectors such as mining, energy, and agriculture.
Roscoe brings extensive experience in commodities, energy, sustainability, ESG, technology, risk management, and finance. He currently serves as a Senior Manager at KPMG Canada, where he is part of the KPMG Americas Mining Centre of Excellence. His expertise in these areas positions him well to lead the new chapter and foster meaningful connections between Brazilian and Canadian businesses.
“Andre’s appointment as Chair of the Saskatchewan Chapter reflects our commitment to expanding our reach and supporting regional economic development,” said Peter Hawkins, Co-Chair (with Daniel Ricica) of the Board of Directors. “His deep understanding of both markets will be invaluable as we continue to build bridges between Brazilian and Canadian businesses.”
The Saskatchewan Chapter will serve as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration among businesses, government agencies, and other stakeholders interested in Brazil-Canada relations. Under Roscoe’s leadership, the chapter aims to organize events, trade missions, and other initiatives that promote bilateral trade and investment opportunities.
Established in 1973, the BCCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting trade, investment, and strategic partnerships between Brazil and Canada. The launch of the Saskatchewan Chapter marks a significant milestone in the Chamber’s efforts to enhance its national presence and support the growth of Brazil-Canada business relations.
