15th Edition | Brazil-Canada at PDAC 2021

The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) is proud to announce the 15^th Edition of the Brazil-Canada at PDAC 2021, taking place during the 2021 PDAC Virtual Convention, which includes a series of events focused on the Brazilian mineral exploration and mining industries and will be held between March 5^th and March 11^th, 2021.

The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) represents the interests of the Canadian mineral exploration and development industry and is responsible for organizing the International Convention, Trade Show & Investors Exchange – Mining Investment Show in Toronto, ON, Canada.. The PDAC Convention is considered the meeting point of the world’s mineral industry - drawing in 2020 over 23,000 investors, mining executives and government officials from over 132 countries. In 2021 we are expecting an even bigger audience, as the 2021 PDAC Virtual Convention will be totally online and therefore can be attended from anywhere in the world.

The BCCC is working in partnership with the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy and Brazilian Mining Associations to provide a full program and an even deeper analysis of the trends and opportunities in the Brazilian Mineral sector.

This years’ virtual program will continue focusing on three very important topics: Capital and Mining Finance, Sustainability & Innovation. The COVID-19 pandemic has intensified society’s concerns over sustainability and companies around the world had to adapt fast to this new reality. Although ESG strategy is not something new to the mining and mineral sectors, 2020 set a new bar for what is acceptable or not, even compared to recent standards. Sustainable investments are now front and center, and the demand for transparent disclosure on ESG performance is not letting up.

The Brazil-Canada at PDAC 2021 online events will include the Brazil-Canada Mining Insights, on Sunday March 7^th, as well as the four other specialized programs: Brazil-Canada ESG Insights (Monday, March 8^th), Brazil-Canada Exclusive Capital Markets Roundtable & Market Opening at TSX (Tuesday March 9^th) and the already traditional Brazilian Mineral Exploration & Mining Industries - Companies’ Presentations (Wednesday, March 10^th).  In addition to that, the BCCC is also hosting the traditional Brazilian Mining Day, organized by the Organizing Committee of Brazil at PDAC 2021 led by ADIMB. This series of events will showcase discussions focused on investment opportunities, business attraction and regulatory changes in the Brazilian Mining and Mineral Exploration Sector and will be presented in daily sessions, covering the main topics of interest of investors and companies looking to do business in Brazil.
