The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, through the BCCC Mining Committee, is pleased to announce the BCCC Mining Excellence Series: Regulatory Changes in the Brazilian Mineral Sector - Opportunities for Canadian Investors which will take place on August 11th at 12:30 PM EST during the 9th SIMEXMIN 2021 - Brazilian Symposium of Mineral Exploration, organized by ADIMB - Agency for the Development and Innovation of the Brazilian Mineral Sector.
The Brazilian Government continues to launch a series of regulatory changes aiming to ease access to new exploration areas and supports companies involved in the exploration and mining of a variety of commodities deemed of special interest of the country.
This discussion will give an overview of the new model of public offer and auction of available areas, including the perspective from Canadian investors who participated in the first rounds as well as an overview of the new Strategic Minerals Policy and the opportunities for Canadian mining companies looking to increase their portfolio of assets in Brazil.
