"Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - Where it starts!"
The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with I&D 101, is honoured to announce the “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion – Where it starts” event on December 13th, 2022, at 9 AM (EST) at the WaterPark Place, 20 Bay Street, 11th Floor (Muskoka Room), Toronto, ON,
Presented by Jamile Cruz, Founder and CEO at I&D 101 and chair of the BCCC Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the in-person event is designed with two complementary parts to address behaviours and systems. In the first part, Jamile will use the Inclusion Notebook, developed in partnership with PleaseNotes, to discuss how developing individual awareness is essential to address biases and create more inclusiveness.
The second part is a fireside chat between Jamile and Kadie Ward, MBA, Commissioner and Chief Administrative Officer at the Ontario Pay Equity Office. They will discuss Canada’s pay equity tools and implementation approaches; and other inclusive practices that can be implemented to improve our workplaces today.
All participants will receive an Inclusion Notebook to start their journeys toward more inclusive environments.
