The Second Edition of the Immigrant Founder Experience - Brazil at Vancouver Startup Week is an event, organized by the BCCC in partnership with the Consulate General of Brazil in Vancouver and is part of the official agenda of the Vancouver Startup Week 2024.

Ingrid Polini, Partner at Maple Bridge Ventures
Ingrid holds a Business Administration Bachelors, and a Masters in intercultural and international communications and has more than 10 years of experience in tech, from large corporations to startups. Ingrid has developed international projects in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, USA, Vietnam, Bermuda, Costa Rica and Canada. She is a successful entrepreneur in Latin America and North America, and mentors other startups in acceleration hubs such as the Accelerator Center, in Canada. She is also a partner at Maple Bridge Ventures, a firm investing in game-changing Canadian immigrant founders.
At SafetyDocs global, the company she has founded and used to run as CEO, she focused on managing the development of client-centred solutions, focusing on optimizing efficiency and lowering costs of operations globally. Ingrid is also co-chair of the Brazilian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce in British Columbia and co-host of Find a Way podcast.

With over 15 years of experience in the hiring industry and 5 years as CEO of WeDevelop, an IT staffing and software development agency, Abel has founded Nubel with the aim of addressing the sector's fundamental challenges. Currently, he is in the process of relocating to British Columbia, Canada, through the Startup Visa program.
