Canada-Brazil Mission - South Summit 2026
The Canada–Brazil Mission to South Summit 2026, organized by the Brazil–Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC), will take place from March 25 to 27, 2026, in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Designed as a high-impact delegation, the mission connects Canadian companies directly with Brazil’s fast-growing innovation ecosystem through South Summit—one of Latin America’s leading global platforms for entrepreneurship, investment, and technology.
Going beyond traditional conference participation, the mission offers a structured and results-driven business development experience, built around visibility, strategic access, and meaningful engagement. At the core of the program is the BCCC Canada House, a dedicated hub on the trade show floor that positions Canadian organizations at the center of the ecosystem—facilitating connections with startups, investors, corporates, and public-sector leaders throughout the event.
Participants benefit from a curated agenda that includes exclusive networking moments, targeted matchmaking sessions, and high-level institutional engagement, alongside access to the full South Summit program. These interactions are designed to move beyond introductions, enabling direct connections with key Brazilian stakeholders across sectors and translating engagement into concrete business opportunities.
The mission also provides first-hand exposure to Brazil’s innovation landscape, through accompanied visits to the trade show, spotlighting leading companies—particularly from Southern Brazil—and participation in technical sessions exploring how emerging technologies are being applied across industries and shaping the future of business.
Throughout the program, delegates engage with global players and international delegations, reinforcing South Summit’s position as a truly global platform. The strong Canadian presence—supported by partners such as the Canadian Queer Chamber of Commerce and senior government representatives—underscores the growing momentum behind Canada–Brazil collaboration in innovation.
Concluding with a strategic debrief and reflection session, the mission ensures that participants leave not only with new connections, but with clear pathways to advance partnerships, expand into the Brazilian market, and build long-term bilateral opportunities.
