Canada 101 - Investing in Canada for Brazilian Companies
The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce and the Trade Commissioner Service in Brazil are pleased to announce the 3rd Edition of Canada 101: Investing in Canada for Brazilian Companies, which will take place on April 13th and 14th in light of the Collision Conference 2021 - that once again will take place virtually.
Canada is home to the world’s largest tech hubs, growing and attracting innovative talent from across the globe. It's highly educated and growing tech talent pool continuously attracts investments from global businesses, including the world’s 10 largest technology companies. Canada’s commitment to talent development and attraction, strong support for innovation, and low business costs make it easy for tech companies to succeed.
Canada has experienced ten years of growth in its technology ecosystem. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, VC investment in 2020 reachedCAD $4.4B across 509 deals, second only to 2019. Additionally, tech jobs have grown at an unprecedented rate across Canadian cities. The need for talent is supported through Canada’s streamlined immigration process for skilled workers, allowing global companies the flexibility to scale up rapidly.
The two-day program will include an overview of the benefits of bringing your company to Canada, legal aspects of doing business here and immigration paths. We will also present the Toronto and Montreal tech ecosystems and a panel discussion featuring Brazilian entrepreneurs succeeding in Canada.
Don't miss it! We look forward to seeing you there!
