15th Edition - Doing Business in Brazil
The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 15th edition of our traditional Doing Business in Brazil conference, which will be once again hosted online due to restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The agenda has been tailored to Canadian SMEs and has been divided into 3 sessions, which will take place on 3 different days:
- Session 1 - Brazil 2022: Economic and Political Outlook in an Election Year - October 19th, at 2 PM (EST);
- Session 2 - Why Brazil? Trends and Opportunities for Canadian SMEs - October 20th, at 2 PM (EST);
- Session 3 - Entering the Brazilian Market: Practical Steps for Canadian SMEs - October 21st, at 2 PM (EST).
With a population of 212 million people, a significant need for infrastructure, and a relatively modest price tag given the depreciation of the real, Brazil offers several attractive business opportunities for Canadian SME’s and larger corporations. Although still dealing with the fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic, longer-term positives could be in store for Brazil, where the economy is currently undergoing structural changes that will affect important aspects of the business environment and open new opportunities for companies.
This year’s program will focus on Trends, Opportunities and Practical Steps, aiming to shine a light on how Canadian companies should approach the Brazilian market, showcasing the opportunities available in different sectors and what needs to be done to enter the market successfully.
It's a must-attend event for any company looking into expanding to the Brazilian Market! We look forward to seeing you there!
