OVERVIEW
The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce - BCCC proudly announces the BCCC 50th Anniversary Scholarship. This year, the BCCC will select three outstanding essays, and each student will receive a generous scholarship prize of $1,000.00 CAD.
Students interested in participating in this scholarship program are required to write an essay answering the following: "If you were the President of the BCCC, What are the five steps you would take to build and foster a strong relationship between Brazil and Canada?".
The selected students will be announced during our traditional End of the Year Cocktail.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

The applicant must be enrolled in any program available at one of the BCCC Education Members (Centennial College, Cestar College, Maple Bear, Seneca Polytechnic or Toronto Metropolitan University - TMU) in the 2023/2024 academic year.

The applicant MUST submit the essay by November 28, 2023, at 5:00 PM (EDT) (See Essay Requirements) Obs: The original due date was November 22, 2023.

The winner should be available in the first week of December 2023 to receive the award in person.

Before accessing the reward, the three selected students MUST provide proof of enrollment for the 2023/2024 academic year.
ESSAY REQUIREMENTS

Essay Topic: "If you were the President of the BCCC, What are the five steps you would take to build and foster a strong relationship between Brazil and Canada?" Remember to consider diversity, inclusion, and global cooperation in the trade community

The essay MUST have a minimum of 500 and a maximum of 650 words

The essay MUST be written in English or Brazilian Portuguese

The essay MUST be signed with permission to use the winning name and images
SELECTION PROCESS

Ensure you provide proper citations for any data, facts, or quotes used in your essay.

Include a list of references or a bibliography to acknowledge your sources

Plagiarism and essays written by Artificial Inteligence (AI) will be automatically disqualified

A panel of esteemed judges will evaluate the essays based on their creativity, clarity, originality, and depth of thought

The decision of the BCCC Education Committee judging panel is final
