BCCC Doing Business in Brazil 2017 - 11th Edition
The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) is pleased to announce the 11th edition of its traditional Doing Business in Brazil seminar, which will take place in Toronto on September 28th 2017.
This half-day seminar aims to provide an overview of the current economic and business landscape as well as the main current trends for investors and business executives who are interested in bilateral business opportunities.
Following the economic and political turbulence Brazil has seen in the past couple of years, the current indicators point that the country has now come out of its recession, and there is much to be optimistic about. Inflation is now under control, the country has experienced positive growth for the first time in the last three years, and the government is proposing reforms to help in the recovery. Most importantly, reports indicate that Brazil is on an upward trend.
To honor Canada 150, the seminar will focus on commonalities between Brazil and Canada, and the opportunities for further collaborations. The two countries have much in common – both are abundant in natural resources, strong innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurial spirit, and are focusing on economic diversification through commercial partners.
This year, the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce will focus on shared trade perspectives. The panels will include a discussion on what to expect from the current exploratory trade negotiations of Canada-Mercosur, and a common business strategy of inclusion and diversity. The event will be an excellent opportunity to network with our members and partners as well as to expose your brand to potential investors and companies doing business in Brazil.
