Brazil-Canada at PDAC 2016
The PDAC 2016 is just around the corner, and the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) is very proud to announce the 10th Edition of the Brazil-Canada at PDAC series of events focused on the Brazilian mineral and mining industries.
The BCCC is honoured to have had the privilege to be the vehicle whereby hundreds of companies had the opportunity to present their projects to an audience of high profile mining professionals and government representatives from around the globe and especially from the Brazilian mining community. We have strived to promote panels and debates that were able to cover the prevailing industry topics of interest of our members, sponsors and guests.
Throughout these 10 years, the cyclical nature of our industry has exposed us to good and challenging times such as the one we are experiencing now. We are fortunate to have always counted with the commitment of our sponsors in helping us to keep our mission to deliver valuable events while providing an environment to foster business opportunities among the participants.
For our 10th anniversary, the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce will once again host our traditional Mining Breakfast on March 7th at the offices of McCarthy Tetrault in Toronto and the BCCC Exclusive Mining Luncheon on March 8th at PDAC. Those events are a must-attend for everyone interested on the Brazilian mining industry and a unique networking opportunity.
In addition, we are announcing a very special initiative: together with The Resource Foundation we are organizing a fundraising to help the people and the environment affected by the dam breach accident that happened in Brazil last November.
We take corporate social responsibility seriously and we are a true believer that it is in circumstances like this that together we can make a difference. And to help bring awareness to this important issue, the BCCC will have a space dedicated to the fundraising and our sponsors at the PDAC convention centre.
