Category: Blog, News, Uncategorized

The Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce – BCCC proudly inaugurated its Nova Scotia chapter on January 20th, 2025. The event marks a significant milestone in strengthening the economic ties between Brazil and Canada, particularly within the vibrant and innovative community of Kitchener-Waterloo.

A New Chapter for Bilateral Relations

As a key provincial chapter of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, the Nova Scotia Chapter will serve as a vital link for businesses, policymakers, and communities seeking to engage in bilateral opportunities. With its rich maritime history, vibrant industries, and strategic position on Canada’s east coast, Nova Scotia is a natural hub for advancing Brazil-Canada relations.

The chapter’s mission and vision are clear and ambitious:

  • Facilitate Trade and Investment: By creating a robust platform for businesses in Brazil and Canada, the chapter will streamline opportunities for trade and investment, ensuring mutual economic growth.
  • Support the Local Business Community: Through meaningful networking opportunities, the chapter will empower businesses in Nova Scotia to thrive, leveraging connections with Brazilian counterparts.
  • Advocate for Bilateral Policies: The chapter will promote policies that enhance economic relations between the two regions, fostering a supportive environment for bilateral trade and investment.
