Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) is Canada’s oldest and largest public equity market, with more than 160 years of experience. Companies listed on TSX include a broad range of companies from Canada, North America and around the world across a diverse array of industry sectors. Approximately 1,500 companies are listed on the Exchange, with a total market capitalization of $2.7 trillion (as at December 31, 2016).

Guillaume Légaré joined TMX Group in January 2019 and is the Head, South America for Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) based in Lima, Peru.
He is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with private companies, prospective issuers, and influencers in the region, with the view of identifying key companies to list on the Exchanges and supporting them through the listing process. He also leads the multi-faceted strategy to drive sustainable long-term growth for TSX and TSXV in South America.
Guillaume worked in the banking industry for 14 years, with nine of those as Director, South America, and Chief Representative for National Bank of Canada in Brazil, leading the bank’s capital markets activities in South America. Prior to this, he spent over six years in international technical sales and business development strategies for technology companies in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
Guillaume holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Laval University in Quebec, Canada, and an Executive MBA in Finance from IBMEC in Rio de Janeiro.
Guillaume is fluent in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Robert Peterman is Vice-President, Global Business Development at Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV). He is responsible for domestic and international business development activities for TSX and TSXV across new corporate listings and Exchange Traded Funds and Products. His group also covers investor development activities for TSX and TSXV. Combined, the exchanges are home to over 3,200 public issuers. During 2020 over 300 companies or ETFs went public on TSX or TSXV and $42B of capital was raised making it one of the largest exchanges in the world for raising equity capital.

Dean McPherson is Head of Global Mining for the TMX Group Ltd. (Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange). He is responsible for the development and execution of the global strategy for attracting new listings in the mining sector to the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange. Prior to the Toronto Stock Exchange, Mr. McPherson worked as an investment banker, assisting mining companies to meet corporate finance and growth objectives. Before joining the capital markets, Mr. McPherson worked for 10 years as a civil engineer, managing capital projects for Alcoa Inc. (an international diversified mining company) and FLUOR (a major international engineering services company). In addition to an undergraduate honors degree in Civil Engineering; Mr. McPherson earned an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University and is a CFA Charterholder.
