Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with in-person event support for various BCCC events, including conferences, business forums, networking sessions, and cultural gatherings. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about event coordination, hospitality, and international business relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup, registration, and guest reception
- Coordinate event logistics, including seating arrangements, signage, and audiovisual equipment
- Provide general support to event speakers, sponsors, and attendees
- Help with the distribution of materials such as event programs and name badges
- Monitor and manage event flow, ensuring smooth operations
- Support with teardown and post-event cleanup
- Assist in addressing any immediate concerns or needs during the event
- Collect attendee feedback and assist in post-event reports as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, courteous, and reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Interest in events, hospitality, or international business is a plus
- Flexibility to attend events during evenings or weekends
- Prior event coordination experience is an asset but not required
