World-renowned consulting firms and financial institutions evaluate 2019 perspectives in the financing of mining projects, at Brazil-Canada at PDAC

The panel is part of an event promoted in Toronto by the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC)

TORONTO, March 5th, 2019 – In a context of world trade tension, the financing of mining projects requires assessment of both the industry value chain and the global environment. World-renowned firms and financial institutions join the panel Mining-Financing: Perspectives 2019, on Tuesday, March 5th at the 13th Edition of the Brazil-Canada at PDAC. The annual event is promoted in Toronto by the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC).

The panel, held in partnership with Baker & Mackenzie, will take place during the Brazil-Canada Exclusive Capital Markets Luncheon and will have as moderator Daniel Ricica, from KPMG. The guest speakers are Jaso Crouse (CFO at Triple Flag Mining Finance), Martin Valdez (Partner & Managing Director at Resource Capital Funds), and Peter Bell (Corporate and Investment Banking at National Bank of Canada).

The Brazil-Canada at PDAC is a series of events held between March 2nd and March 5th during the 2019 PDAC Convention, yearly promoted by the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). The PDAC is an international convention that, in 2018 alone, attracted over 1,000 exhibitors and 24,000 attendees from over 125 countries.

Along with the diversity debate, Tuesday the Brazil-Canada at PDAC promotes the panels Leading the Way: Design to Unleash Diversity’s Power and The Brazilian Mineral Exploration in the Mining Industry – Projects & Opportunities.
