Marina Prado is a partner in the areas of Corporate Law and Governance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Private Equity.

She was an international associate at a major New York law firm between the years of 2008 and 2009. Ms. Prado was approved and certified by the New York State Bar, in the United States of America.

Rebeca is head of the Environmental Law Department of Cescon, Barrieu, Flesch & Barreto Advogados, also acting in the ESG & Impact area.
She advises entrepreneurs, financiers, or potential buyers and sellers in all legal matters involving environmental law. She deals with strategic proceedings of great complexity, including cases where the environmental issue is even more relevant than the eventual financial liability involved. She acts in the development of differentiated solutions for conflict resolution, taking into account the specific features of each sector’s regulations and seeking to dialogue with environmental agencies and Public Prosecutor’s Offices in order to overcome obstacles to the development of our clients’ activities, always with a sustainable development approach. Her practice field includes the sponsorship of judicial and administrative proceedings involving environmental matters, as well participating in due diligence and drafting legal advice. Her ESG & Impact practice involves advising companies on matters regarding environmental topics, sustainable finance, and conforming processes and projects to meet environmental and social standards.
